Windows 10: "Password has expired and needs to be reset", keep getting locked out

Not sure if anyone can help but I tried to log into a computer at another family members house that I use every so often for study and have a profile on, and it told me that my password had expired and needed to be reset. Though, when I tried to reset it, apparently my password is wrong. With all my Microsoft stuff I use the same password which is probably not ideal but I've tried that and every other password I use, but I keep getting locked out. Is there a way I can reset this?

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

Adminstrator Account is locked as password expired. Windows 10
