    Password Incorrect


    Hello, so today I woke up, opened my computer and first thing I noticed was that the PIN Login option had disappeared, I tried to login using my microsoft account passwordthe same account Im posting this question from which is the only account that is linked to my PC and it said that the password was incorrect, I used the "show touch keyboard " option to make sure I was writing it right and it still didnt work despite having been able to login into my microsoft account on my mobile phone, I changed my password and it still didnt work, I went onto safe mode followed all the steps to get it to work properly and it still said incorrect password, what should I do now?

    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
    Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink
