Windows 10: Password is always incorrect... even just after changing it

I got a new laptop and am still having to sign into my Microsoft settings through the settings. Even while I was setting up, I had to change my password every single time a new "enter your password" came up because no matter what, it was wrong. It always says my Microsoft password is wrong, and I only have one e-mail for Microsoft. This is the only device that has my information for Microsoft. I called customer support numerous times in which the call was disconnected and I waited on the line for 2 hours twice, so I'm doing this as my second option. Keep in mind I tried the current password, old ones, and no matter what, it is wrong. I am tired of having to change my password every time I sign in. I just want my new laptop to be set up.

Have you tried changing the password as suggested? And again trying add the account step by step to phone.

 

The Password is Incorrect

I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

• No.

• Have you tried resetting your password?
• Yes I did, but of course it asks for my old password which when I enter it says it's incorrect. I also tried setting a PIN but again it asks for my password.
