    Password is incorrect please try again


    Please help me i'm already having a bad week.My laptop just got bluescreen today and when i'm try to recovering it using Windows Recovery and choosing "Reset this PC" option the windows tells me to entering my Microsoft Account Password not the PIN Password whenever i try to insert my password is always incorrect, i'm using the same account as i'm posting this btw, then i changed my password from other device it still doesn't work. Please help me i can't lose my data again i just lost my phone last week and i'm far away from my friends the only thing i use to communicate with my friends is W

    The Password is Incorrect

    I have tried login in to my computer on Windows 10 but it shows password is incorrect. I have followed the steps indicated but it is still showing that the password is incorrect. Please advise.

    How do I get out of safe mode so I can reset my settings?

    1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    2. Type msconfig and press Enter.
    3. In the window, click on Boot tab.
    4. uncheck Safe boot, click on Apply and Ok. Restart
    Not sure why it started in Safe mode. May have been out of sync with your phone from prev incorrect password. See if restart fixes. At least, you know what your universal MS password is. *Wink
