Windows 10: Password issue - Logged into updated Windows 10 as local admin user, changed primary email...

I recently installed an update to Windows 10 on my dad's Lenovo Yoga 2. This involved logging in to his administrator user account, which was the only local user account on it. There were logins to my Google Gmail on his account, as I work from a Chromebook, and the system set his local user account under my Gmail account. I also added myself as another administrator user account using the same Gmail account as the Windows account.The next day my dad used his normal password and it got pass the password screen but not to his desktop. Unable to log in to user admin account

This morning I added my email alias as my Windows 10 "admin user" account and changed my primary email (or log-on) to a "standard user" account. I assumed that they shared the same password because the alias hangs off of my primary email. I can't login
to my admin user account now, I receive a message "the user name or password is incorrect." I've changed my primary email password, but I still can't login to my admin user account using the same password. I have logged in to outlook.com before using my
email alias and my primary email password. Anybody have any ideas?

Have you made sure that the account currently logged-in to has Administrator privileges? You can verify this by following these steps:

• Press Windows key + I on your keyboard and click Accounts.
• Click Your info on the left pane.
• Under your account picture, you can see if the account is a Local Admin.

If the account is not an Admin account, we suggest making one and try to transfer the files from there. Here's an
