Windows 10: Password issues

On my Toshiba satellite laptop I have forgotten the password and when I boot the F keys don't work F8 etc and goes to a blue box with "Enter Password" so tried F2 and F12 but Just goes to the black screen with the enter password blue box. Any suggestions....

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

If yes, I suggest you to try to login in to your Microsoft account on other working computer. If you have forgotten your password, I suggest you to reset Microsoft account login password.
