Windows 10: password not working and won't connect to internet

    I'm new here so I'll try to keep this short.

    My friend recently bought rdr2 and it wouldn't start after downloading it. He asked rockstar for help and they told him to do a AMD cleanup. He's recently new to using windows so he could've made a big mistake by doing that because I have never heard of that.

    Upon booting up the computer after a restart the computer displayed the incorrect resolution (it's stretched) and instead of a pin the computer asks for the regular password. AND for some bizarre reason the computer won't connect to the internet. I've had him test the ethernet port and the ethernet cable on a laptop and it works fine.

    Please help.
