Windows 10: Password problem or Windows Live Account problem

Cannot remember password, OR typed it in wrong on both entries. When I use the tool for recovering/resetting the password. The system takes me to a reset function, where I am able to put in a new password twice, but the screen that follows does not show successful entry, but rather one block asking me to enter the old password. Cannot break this loop. Have been running W10 for 2-3 months and cannot roll back computer.

Cannot understand why system calls for "old password" when I do not know the old password, which is the reason for trying to create a new one.

Please some help to recover the password, OR remove the Windows Live account logging on

Settings show I am using the Microsoft Server, but I cannot download from the Store.

Although this password problem is recent, I have never been able to get to the store.

I created a whole new Live Account, but I cannot break into the login process to change the user. Also can do contro-alt-del, to switch user, but this also does not work.
