    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I am able to log on and getinto my emails using the original password that I set up.[/COLOR]


    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Laptop[/COLOR]


    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I am not able to log into myaccount or get into my emails with my original password, I set up a newpassword but I am not able to get into my account using this. It is set up to save the password and autolog in so I have no problems there and I can use the PIN to get into my accountso no problem with this.[/COLOR]


    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Samsung Phone[/COLOR]


    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I set up a new account so thatI could get onto my Microsoft account on my phone which is good but I am notable to get into my main Hotmail account with the phone despite setting up anew password on this.[/COLOR]


    [COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Now, as this is supposed to beuniversal why am I not able to use the same password to get into my accounts ondifferent devices.[/COLOR]

  2. OK, Password problem...Mint

    You can reset your password following the next steps:

    • Reboot your computer / Turn your computer on.
    • Hold down the Shift key at the start of the boot process to enable the GNU GRUB boot menu (if it does not show)
    • Press ESC at the GNU GRUB prompt.
    • Press e for edit.
    • Use the Arrow keys to highlight the line that begins with kernel and press the e key.
    • Go to the very end of the line and add rw init=/bin/bash
    • Press Enter and then press b to boot your system.
    • Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.
    • Type in passwd yourusername
    • Set your new password.
    • Restart your system.

  3. Long boot time and passwords missing

    The only reason I mention the account is that a Windows update recently was causing people to be signed into a temporary account, your password manager may be installed for all users but the list of passwords would be user specific, therefore the blank password list suggests a different account. *Smile

    We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to find and fix the problem with touch pad and arrow keys. Follow the steps provided below:

    • Type Settings in the search tab and press Enter.
    • Select Update & Security, then click Troubleshoot.
    • Click Hardware and Devices, then click Run the troubleshooter.

    If that didn't work, we suggest that you boot/start your computer in
    Safe mode
    and try the steps provided on the article again and check if it will work.
