Windows 10: Password situation

Hello everyone,

A good friend of my aunt committed suicide a few months ago. My aunt has his pc with Windows 10 installed on it now. She wonders if there is any way she can get into the pc. The problem is that she doesn't know the password to his pc.

I know it's a shot in the dark, and it's probably not possible, but at least I can try asking here.

admin password?

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

• 
  Open settings
  
• 
  Click on Users and account
  
• 
  Open Sign-in options and tap the
  Change button under Password.
  
• 
  Enter the current password and click Next.
  
• 
  There you can remove the pin password

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
