  1. Password VS PIN for a local account

Hi everyone,On my PC, I have recently switched my Windows account to a local account for security reason. Then I created also a local account password, of course, so now I can access on my Windows system by both my local account password OR my old Windows PIN.Having two access methods is redundant IMO, so I would be oriented to delete my PIN Windows Hello in order to make everything with my local account password. My doubt is: from a security point of view, which is safer between the local account password and the PIN? Is it safer having both? Thanks in advance.

    :)

  3. Forgotten PIN and expired password

    Hi Dyari,

    Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

    • #1: reset PIN code
      • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    • #2: change or reset windows password
      • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
      • I am using a local account
If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

    Regards,

    Guillaume
