Password word problem: Can not access OneNote anymore.

Using Windows 10 and Chrome Browser.
    This involves Hotmail, OneDrive, OneNote.
    ---------------------------------------------
When accessing my Hotmail yesterday, MS notified me that there was suspicious activity that someone tried to login my email account and advised me to change the PW. I did it.

Today when I turned on my computer, It said that I failed to login to OneDrive (I did not try to access OneDrive to begin with, I just powered up my computer). It asked me to login.
I typed in the New PW that I just established yesterday. It took it, but asked me to change the PW again (I just did it last night). So, I changed the PW again (because OneDrive asked me to change.)

Now I can not access MS OneNote. OneNote doesn't recognize the new PW. Please help.

    Sure appreciate very much.

    :)

    skydrive sync fails

I'm using Microsoft Office Professional 2010. Microsoft OneNote is version 14.0.6112.5000.

I can start OneNote on my computer without any errors. I can access my Personal OneNote from SkyDrive (in the browser) or on my laptop (in OneNote 2010) or on my desktop (in OneNote 2010). I can't access OneNote from my phone anymore (Mango Samsung Focus)--although
everything worked flawlessly until the recent SkyDrive update. I can't access documents from SkyDrive from my phone anymore unless I bypass the Office application and just do everything from the browser. The brower still works.

In Onenote mobile mango, how do I search for text within a page?

That answers my question, but I feel caught in a Catch 22.

I can use Windows Live Mesh to keep my text file up to date across my laptops, but not my Word Mobile cannot access them. I cannot access files on my Live Mesh files from Word Mobile, only the regular Skydrive files. I can use OneNote to keep everything
on my laptops and my OneNote mobile in sync but I can't search the OneNote pages on the mobile until I paste them into a word document.

So I am no longer confused, but I'm not really satisfied either.

If I could search OneNote pages on the Windows Phone 7, that would solve my problem.

If I could sync my regular Skydrive files across all my laptops and also to my Windows Phone, that would solve my problem.

If I could access my Live Mesh files directly on my Windows Phone, that would solve my problem.

As it stands today, I can work around the problem in several ways, but all the workarounds are kludgy.

Since I usually have access to my laptops, I think I'll settle on OneNote for a while to sync and update these files, and do as you suggest on the occasion when I need to search the file away from the laptop.

Really I think MS would be better off if Live Mesh and Skydrive were all in one and the one was both accessable and syncable and Word Mobile could access it all. It took me a while to sort out the way Live Mesh is a subset of Skydrive, and now my Live
Mesh and non Live Mesh Skydrive files are a muddle of redundancy and inefficiency. So, when I turned to OneNote as my "sync medium" since OneNote DOES sync non-Live Mesh Skydrive files, I thought I had it, until the "no search on OneNote Mobile" gotcha got
    me.

    Thanks for the answer though.

Password word problem: Can not access OneNote anymore.

After changing the PW for Hotmail (advised by MS to do this). Power-up the computer the next day, Onedrive asked me to change PW, so had to change OneDrive and Hotmail (and thus for hotmail again).
Now unable to access OneNote, and unable to post a question to Microsoft community (intended to ask how to access OneNote).

Looks like the Hotmail, OneDrive, OneNote, & MS community (login to ask questions): All use the same PW.
The change of PW in one place is not recognized by other places.
(OneNote and MS community login - do not give me a chance to enter the new PW that I changed yesterday for Hotmail & OneDrive.)

So, I am unable to access OneNote (except through hotmail/OneDrive), and unable to post a question to ask the MS community.

    Re-phrase my question:

After changing the PW for my hotmail (advised by MS to do this), I am unable to access OneNote and unable to post a question to the MS community - neither place allows me to enter the just changed PW.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I had this same problem and none of the answers I found helped me and I was extremely concerned because I had data stored in the OneNote app that I couldn't find!
On Windows 10, I solved it by verifying some user account nonsense outside of OneNote.
    1. Go to Start->Settings->Accounts->Your email and accounts
    2. There was a note there asking me to verify my account.
    3. After clicking the link, I entered in my Microsoft account password.
    4. I went back and re-started the OneNote app and came up with no error.
I have to wonder why this suddenly came up? Was there some Windows update that caused this.
