When I loaded Windows 10, I did something so that Windows would open without me having to put in a password. That's been working fine (except that I don't remember what I did.)

Now for the problem. I Signed Out of my computer, and when I went to start working again, it asked me for my password. Well, I haven't a clue and it told me to use my Microsoft password. I did, and it didn't like it.

The question is: How can I retrieve my password OR NEVER have to use a password?

    thanks.

    :)

  3. Windows Stuck in Offline Mode

So my laptop is able to connect to Wi-Fi, go online, watch videos and stuff like that. But when it comes to trying to use the Marketplace, Apps that require an online connection or updating I'm told my laptop is offline. I have tried several upon several
methods and none of them work, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Are you signed into a local account or your Microsoft account?

Have you tried just leaving the password blank?

I don't know how to answer that definitively. I think I'm logged into my local account. I never use my MS account except when I have to - don't do it deliberately. That's why I"m upset at MS for MAKINg me use a password when I don't want to. I figure that if they steal my computer, they'll steal most everything anyway. {/rant}, sorry.
