Windows 10: passwords and security

I recently did a reset on my computer. When I went to sign in to ebay my user name AND my password were up on the screen.

This means that ANYONE can get into my ebay account and make a purchase. I checked my paypal account and it's the same, open and ready for ANYONE TO USE. I switched off the offer to Save passwords and the Sign in automatically but nothing has changed

What is going on here?? This was not happening before the reset. I obviously wouldn't have given permission for these sites to be available to all.

I'm a pensioner, not very savvy with technical jargon, can you help me to fix this?

• What is the exact error message you get when you enter the password?
• Did you reset the password again?

If you haven't, I suggest you to Reset your password
and check.

While entering the password, I suggest you to enter the password from the On screen keyboard. To do so, follow these steps.

• On the Lock screen, click on the Ease of access button near the Power button.
• Enable the Onscreen keyboard and enter the password.
• Before hitting enter, click on the eye logo to confirm the password and hit
  enter.
