Windows 10: Pasted File Path Not Navigating To Address in Windows 11 File Explorer

When I take a pasted file address and copy it into the address bar in Windows 11 file explorer, it appears then I press enter as I use to do in Windows 10, but then nothing happens. The pasted address will be deleted and go back to whatever file location I have it open on, but I expect it to go straight to the file location I pasted in after I press enter. It sometimes shows a dropdown box of previous addresses however similar results when I click on them, I will select a dropdown address, the dropdown list will disappear but I will not be navigated to the address and remain on whatever file

How to have full path always show in Address bar in file explorer?

You can change the Windows 11 File Explorer address bar to show the full file path by following these steps:

1. Open File Explorer.
   
2. Click on the three-dot menu icon located at the top right of the window.
   
3. Click on 'Options'.
   
4. In the 'Folder Options' window that appears, go to the 'View' tab.
   
5. In the 'Advanced settings' list, find and check the 'Display the full path in the title bar' option.
   
6. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.

Disable File Explorer Address Bar Path History?

Hello, After entering a file path manually in File Explorer, the entry is kept in the dropdown list of the address bar until I go to View > Options > Clear File Explorer History. I'd like Windows to never store these paths, if possible. I have successfully disabled autocomplete via the registry using the following guide, but it doesn't prevent the history of file paths to be stored: Turn On or Off Inline AutoComplete in File Explorer and Run Dialog I've searched and searched but can't find a solution to this, yet. Hopefully someone has something to suggest that I haven't tried. I know it's possible, since I believe I had it working on my last Win10 machine, but I'm not sure how I did it. Thanks in advance!

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
