Windows 10: Pasting from clipboard

Discus and support Pasting from clipboard in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have saved a screen shot image .png to the clipboard using Win+Shift+S but how do I copy/paste it out, say to the Desktop?     Pasting from clipboard


    I have saved a screen shot image .png to the clipboard using Win+Shift+S but how do I copy/paste it out, say to the Desktop? Pressing Win+V opens a small window displaying the icon with a menu to Pin or Unpin. However, it does not respond to a Right click and selecting the image closes the clipboard window, and Paste is not active.

    Paste command not pasting most recent clipboard item

    Hi, I'm working in Windows 10 and have a persistent problem with Copy + Paste. The problem is that the Paste command typically does not paste the most recent item from the clipboard, but rather pastes an item previously copied to the clipboard. So, for example,
    I might go grab something from the web via CTRL + C, and then try to copy it into an email, only to find that the pasted material is something I previously copied, not the material I copied most recently. At that point I have to go back, re-copy the stuff
    from the web, and try the paste command again. This works, but performing this sequence of steps twice most of the time is a pain in the...keyboard.

    I'd welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

    Where is the Clipboard?

    The clipboard is not something you can find. It is (at least on the windows phone) an inaccessible part of the phone, where your last copied text is stored.



    This is how it works.



    • You highlight a text, and say COPY.
    • the phone OS puts information in the CLIPBOARD.
    • You go another area where text can be input and tap PASTE. Whatever information is in the CLIPBOARD gets pasted.

    My windows 10 computer has a clipboard feature where if I want to copy something, I have to click copy and paste stuff from the clipboard. I would much rather use the Windows key + C and Windows key + V for easier access and because it is quicker. Is there
    a step-by-step procedure that someone can tell me to turn clipboard off and use Windows C and V instead?
