Windows 10: Patch OS is not applicable.

Dear MS support. My company will update the patch to the client's users, By will have to manually install the patch of the 1st month of the quarter. But I found some patches not applicable after some time. Example windows 10 20H2 want update patch 2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5005033 on 8 Nov 2021 I can install is normal but on 9 Nov 2021 can't install. Please let me know the patch at release every month how many days can it be used if Microsoft release a new patch.

Patching of CVE-2020-0601

I have a computer that does not list the patch for CVE-2020-060, KB4534293, OS build17134.1246. However, KB4554349 is listed on the same PC, which is OS build 17134.1401. Was the patch for CVE-2020-0601 included in OS build 17134.1401?

 

Ransomware Patch

Two different cases:

• Windows Vista and Windows XP: They have been released a separate patch for the latest attack. No prerequisites.
• Windows 7, 8.1, 10: The updates of these OSes are cumulative. The newer patch contains all the previous patches as well. Earlier 7, 8.1 did not follow this, but now they are. For example Build 14393.953 includes patching for MS01070(or whatever) and the
  later builds like 14393.1028 also contains the previous fixes.
