    Patch Tuesday feeds win 10 pop-up to win7 users?


    That was how it was described to me by a friend. Today, on that person's PC (win7), a giant "pop-up" ad was displayed upon restart. They had already removed KB2952664 months ago.

    This is exactly the behavior of PUP's and maleware. I would like to confirm that this was seen by others, and is, in fact, not a maleware problem.

    I do not consider this a win7 issue, so I posted it here.

    Your <Account Name> account settings are out of date

    Read an article in one of my feeds a few hours ago that 'patch Tuesday' bumped the shipping version to 10.0.15063.297 so maybe that's it. I did get it yesterday evening (Tuesday).......

    When is November's Patch Tuesday please? Win10 (I'm confused by an overnight Flash Update KB4051613)

    Usually Patch Tuesday is the 2nd Tuesday in the month but sometimes intermediate patches are released to fix problems which crop up.
