Windows 10: Paths broken

So, I have been having an issue with windows since a long time agoI was using Windows 10 normally one day, then windows security started going after any random file on my PC, from games, steam files, to NVIDIA and AMD drivers, to even VS and VS Code and more, I updated to Windows 11 in hopes of fixing the issueWindows security did the same issues till it stopped doing so by itself.Now I have a somewhat annoying issue that has been bugging me since I upgraded to Windows 11being mildly annoying in games and a large annoyance when installing or using stuff like SQL SERVER, Flutter or unity they

what exactly do you need to decipher about that path line? also, what are you installing? perhaps i can help.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think the purpose of the echo command was to check if ~/bin was in the $PATH file. My problem is that I can't decipher the output and I don't know how to add ~/bin to the $PATH file.

Just for clarification, the snippet of instructions I gave is just a few steps in the installation process. Nothing is actually supposed to be installed with those steps.

If you wanted to start thinking about using Powershell, here's a starter for 10:

It looks as though you could simply define $INCLUDE as you wish.


Then there's pathed which appears to support including semicolon separated lists.
