Windows 10: Pause updates unpaused itself

    Pause updates unpaused itself


    Running the latest Creator's Update and my paused updates just unpaused themselves.

    The PITA factor with this OS's updating just continues to grow. Anyone else have their paused updates 'unpaused' by this monstrosity of frustration?

    PS I paused from advanced settings under Windows Update Settings and it should have had more than month of limit before I 'had' to unpause. And I never turned off or restarted my machine.

    What the heck is going on with the volume in Windows 10? Randomly, after unpausing the sound, the sound will be incredibly loud. As soon as I adjust the volume (even just pressing the sound increase or decrease button once) the sound volume goes back to being as loud as it should be. It is extremely frustrating when I pause and unpause and then cant hear because I am now deaf. Does anyone have a fix for this?

    How to unpause indexing in Windows 10

    Big problem for me--the solution did not work--the indexing did not rebuild nor did it continue indexing--it is stuck on "pause" and pause is now greyed out. What can I do?

    Pause updates unpaused itself

    Download in Microsoft store is stuck. Pausing and unpausing fixes it only for a couple of seconds

    I'm downloading a game which is about 80GB but it keeps getting stuck and the only way to move it is buy pressing the pause button and unpausing it. I have tried wsreset and signing in and out and other several troubleshooting methods from other posts but
    nothing is working.

    I don't want to keep pausing it since I'm only about 60% of the 80gb download done.

    How can I fix it so it downloads by itself again?
