Windows 10: Pausing media in browser mutes all bluetooth audio

This is a bug in how Windows handles media sessions--it can be triggered by any browser. Windows 10 mutes Bluetooth audio after Pause button is pressed

The bluetooth audio in Windows 10 is muted after I press the Pause button (on my keyboard) to pause music (in Spotify). In many cases I do this to pause the music so that I can watch a video on youtube. Is there a way to make sure that only the music is
paused and that the bluetooth audio does not go away?

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, these suggestions did not solve my problem.

The problem occurs only after pressing pause, when not only the playback of spotifyis paused but the general audio output is muted (although not shown in the volume level in Windows 10).

 

With Bluetooth speaker connected, when pause a video on a browser, all other programs sounds are muted.

I use a laptop with Windows 11 and connect to a bluetooth speaker. When I play any video using chrome or edge and pause, all sounds from other programs will be muted (like games and music players), and when I unpause the video from the browser All sounds will be unmute again.

When I pause a video in the browser, I just want to pause the video, not mute all sounds of my computer, how can I do that?
