Windows 10: PC becomes briefly unresponsive as "system" task spikes in CPU usage

Hello,I am having an issue with my newly built desktop running windows 11. Basically, Windows randomly lags for about 5-10 seconds then returns to normal. Sometimes this happens just once, sometimes it repeats itself with brief pauses in between. During these lags I cannot interact with windows in any way, but music keeps playing for example. It happens usually during regular office work browsing internet, office apps, Spotify... upon interacting with UI moving mouse, typing on keyboard, clicking mouse button... often when switching between applications. Audiodg.exe Spikes Cpu Usage

Every 5 minutes or so audiodg.exe spikes my cpu usage to about 50% and any audio im playing cuts out and then comes back a second or 2 later. The video is completely fine and it's not a problem with
my USB Headset. audiodg.exe stays at low cpu usage when it's not spiking.

Solutions I've tried:

1. turning off audio enhancements
2. reinstalling lan, and audio drivers
3. turning off HPET
4. lowering the sound quality in control panel
5. DPC Latency checker (no change when spiking)

None of these solutions work. Please help.

 

CPU usage spikes up when task manager closed

Hi, how can i solve CPU usage spiking up when task manager is closed? I already tried scanning for malware with a lot of tools and i tried to start the pc in clean mode to see wich program is causing the issue but even with clean mode boot up the cpu still spikes up. Thanks
