Windows 10: PC Black Screen with no audio

I recently was playing a game of Valheim on my pc when suddenly my screen went black and my audio cut out. My computer was still running however and all the fans within my computer appeared to spin incredibly fast for no discernable reason. Previously I've had my video cut but the audio would still play, through event viewer I found that was caused by an issue with my graphics driver and resolved by clean reinstalling it, however this time when I checked event viewer there was no such event indicating a problem meaning that no dump log was created.
