Windows 10: PC Blue Screens while playing games

Discus and support PC Blue Screens while playing games in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; So I was playing dayz last night and ended up blue screening.     PC Blue Screens while playing games


    So I was playing dayz last night and ended up blue screening. It happened twice so i tried updating my cpu files which. It didnt crash for another couple hours after that. This morning while looking for answers it has crashed just sitting on my desktop. The Error said stop code Memory ManagementI also have the files from the mini dump folder. I'm not sure how to upload them here though.

    thanks for your reply.

    I have done everything you have suggested and still I will blue screen when gaming only.

    I then reinstalled windows, and followed your steps again and still experiencing the same issues.

    Also I was not overclocking ever. The blue screens occurred while at stock speeds.

    Apologies I forgot to mention my motherboard is ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING.

    BSOD When playing games

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

    Please share the information requested below:

    • Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
    • Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

    I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
