    PC boots slow


    My PC is fully clean, defragmented and it has no viruses, but my PC boots up very slow... So I went to check whats making the boot so slow and I've seen that windows audio needs 77 seconds to boot up. Is there anything I can do about it?

    What your fisrt impressions of win 10 all who have it?

    Boot up time is really slow compared to 8.1. I loved how fast my 8.1 PC booted up. I may go back to 8.1 if this slow boot problem doesn't get patched.

    PC booting up very slow after 10586 build update. Disable the auto-hide flag of Windows taskbar. don't work on my PC its still slow reboot when you going to fix it MicrosoftPC boots slow :(

    PC boots slow

    Are you using onboard audio (VIA VT1828S)? If so, be sure you're drivers are updated as much as possible (driver from Dec. 2012). And, you might try running "sfc /scannow" (no quotations) in an elevated command prompt [right click Start, select Command Prompt (Admin)], if errors are found, reboot and do it again. All references from Google show that drivers for this were last updated in 2012, so you may just be SOL with onboard audio and may have to go with a soundcard, if the above doesn't help.
