Windows 10: PC BSOD-ing when launching a specific program

My PC has been continually BSOD-ing when launching one specific program—Minecraft Java Edition, of all things—and is giving me the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD message. This seems to be more of a Windows/Microsoft issue than it is a Minecraft issue, so I'm asking here.I'm launching from the Xbox App's Minecraft launcher and selecting Java Edition Bedrock seems to work fine, but Bedrock sucks. This first started occurring several months ago without causing issues elsewhere, but I'm just now getting around to investigating in further detail.Things I've done so far:Uninstalled and reinstalled Mi

Startup programs not launching on startup

Replying to Brink none of that works here is why-
Step 1- No items listed in startup on task manager as stated.
Step 2- I dont have shell:Startup on the pc as it cannot be located
Step 3- I dont understand that option also the startup folder cannot be found
Step 4- No apps showing under startup on settings
Step 5- Dont have access to advanced options at all for any apps
Step 6- Doesn't work.

@dalchina, Will try the program now and no I have no suitable restore points and also nothing that I am aware of has been updated besides for Windows Updates but nothing major. WIll respond once I try the program.

2. Are you aware of any changes being made to the PC?
   
3. What is the build version of Windows 10 running on the PC?
   
4. Were you able to launch the program prior to this issue?

Cortana and launching programs

Hi there!

Try to double check if your Spotify App is installed properly. Try to do these steps to find out:

• Press Windows Key + R button on your keyboard
• On the text field in the run command type appwiz.cpl
• You should be able to see Spotify on the list

If your Spotify is not listed there, it can only mean that your Spotify Software has been placed on your PC by copying the whole client from a External Storage.

If your Spotify is listed on the appwiz.cpl . Try to restart your PC and check if Cortana can now launch the app instead of searching the Web.
