Windows 10: PC cant connect to wifi extender windows 10

My Wi-Fi is bad, so I got an extender, it worked for a while but one day it said "cant connect to this network" on the extender Wi-Fi. It's been a while now, and it still won't work.

I cannot connect to my wifi extender (netgear) from my laptop. I have Windows 10 installed. I can connect with all other devices (cell phones).

I can connect to my modem/router but when trying to connect to the extender it says "internet not available". Any suggestions or has this nothing to do with Microsoft products?

 

My PC all of a sudden stopped being able to connect to my wifi extender.

a couple of days ago the connection between my wifi extender (Netgear EXT6100v2) and my PC all of a sudden dropped out. Everytime I try to connect to the network, it loads for a little, then the tab that shows the available network goes down, then back up
and says "Unable to connect to this network". This happens on both the 2G and 5G networks. I am able to connect to the router 100% fine. All other devices in the house (apart from my iPad) are able to connect to the extender with no worries. I have tried:

- Restarting and moving the extender

- Restarting the router

- Resyncing the WPS between router and extender

- Removing the PC from the device list on mywifiext.net

- An ethernet cable straight from the extender to my PC (it acts as if I have plugged the ethernet cable into my router, it completely ignores the fact that it is plugged into the extender.

- Setting the extender network as a known network in the Windows 10 network settings.

- Deleting/updating my wifi adapter drivers does not work. (TP-Link WDN4800)

I am all out of ideas. I tried booting into safe mode but it doesn't let me connect to the Internet in general while in safe mode. I really want to be able to connect to the extender so any suggestions would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Windows 10 cannot connect to WiFi extender

I have 2 WiFi extenders in my house because the range is poor. I can connect to FIRST of the extenders and use it perfectly. The SECOND extender, which is almost next to my PC, can be connected to but it says there is no internet connection and therefor
is unusable. My phone and Windows 7 laptop can connect the SECOND and be used with no problem. I have tried with all anti-virus software off, restarted/reset the WiFi extender and PC countless times. Both extenders are NETGEAR.

Is this a problem with my PC? If so, what can I do to sort it out?
