Windows 10: PC Can't Detect Both Monitors Drivers Issue

I have a user whose HP Elitebook 845 G8 can't detect any of their monitors. I did all the updates and optional updates from Windows Update Settings. I plugged my laptop into their docking station and the monitors came up so I'm thinking it's a driver issue with the USB Ports because this user is missing Renasas USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller in Device Manager the picture is from my laptop. I went to HP's software and download section but I don't know what I have to install to get this issue resolved.

Second monitor not detected

If Windows can't detect your second monitor, it's usually a driver problem. It could be due to your video driver being outdated, incorrect or faulty. It's also possible that your monitor driver is causing the problem.

Since the issue occurred after the latest update, it's possible that the video or monitor drivers require an update. Try looking for the updated version of the drivers on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If the issue persists, try to roll back the drivers to the last good configuration. To do that, you may follow these steps:

• Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
• Right-click your device driver, select Properties, and browse to the
  Driver tab.
• Press the Roll Back Driver option if available, and Windows 10 will begin the process.

Second monitor streamed using Elgato HD60 Pro not detected

• How is the setup done? Do you mean to say that the monitor streamed is not being detected?
  

Standard graphic cards that do not have the special DMS port will not be able to send out two separate display signals to two different
monitors. Seems like the monitor is attached to the onboard GPU port instead of NVidia, if the display is not being detected despite of the GPU supporting dual monitors. You may plug the
monitor into the NVidia GPU port and check if it’s being detected.

If the issue persists, it could be due to faulty drivers. I suggest you to install the latest drivers from
NVidia.

Dual monitor Detection Issues

For further isolation of the issue, kindly verify the following information:

• Is this the first time you're setting up your Windows 10 device with multiple displays?
• Which port are you using to connect the secondary monitors? Are you using a VGA or an HDMI cable?

In the meantime, we recommend running the troubleshooter for hardware and devices. This tool will scan and fix any misconfiguration detected with your drivers. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Click the Start button.
• Go to Settings.
• Select Update & Security >
  Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems, select
  Hardware and Devices.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.
• If prompted, click Yes or enter the administrator password.
• Follow the on-screen instruction.
