Windows 10: PC cant read bootabe CDs except for the Windows 10

I just got a new PC and i found out that it cant read bootabe CDs except for the Windows 10, Even newly created ones wont boot.

Burn TO DVD Windows10

Have CD in drive with files on it. from windows 8. Windows 10 is reading E DRIVE CD.

Shows files currently on drive

All will open

Did Copy to E using Windows 10 CD Drive E added now file to be burned.

None of the functions on this screen work except OPEN ( this file will open)

How do I burn it.

 

Unable to perform reset on the device from CD as it fails on Windows 10

my win 10 have alot of prblems 1)when i want to make advance start up nothing appears except for continue to windows and shut down pc. 2) some of apps are crushed when i reinstall it from store its still dont want to work 3)windows update also when it rinstall
it fails 4)when i insert my win10 cd and open it it says u must reinstall win10 again and i cant also boot it from my cd and when i reset my pc it tell me it fails

plz tell me what to do

Is secure boot set in the bios as that will only let you boot things in the database is win10

 

No - you can boot from any dvd that is UEFI secure boot compliant - eg Windows 8 dvds, some linux dvds, many image backup tools eg Macrium Reflect etc.

Macrium Reflect are one of the CDs i cant boot from, i know the discs are working fine as i have used them in my former PC *Sad

 

I tried turning secure boot off in the bios, but it is still the same.

 

You have to turn off Secure Boot, and enable CSM mode to Boot older BIOS type boot media.

 

Some bioses just call it legacy bios or something like that.

 

Try booting using (F8). Select your DVD/CD player. Start your computer and start tapping the (F8) key until you get the boot selection.
Sometimes that is the only way to boot a bootable CD/DVD.

Now i got an other issue, i cant boot from the older BIOS type media, and still see my GPT partitions, or use keyboard or mouse when i do it.

Im not sure if i should start a new help thread for this, but...

The real issue is that my "older" pc fried 2 gfx cards, so i got a new computer as i wont risk another gfx card on finding the defect hardware. but i need access to data on my old harddisks, but they are GPT locked, and my new computer cant access them.

I tried converting the disk back to MBR with EaseUS partition master, but it sees it as MBR, but it is GPT..





So now i tried with several other ones, and AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard sees it as GPT and have the option to convert it into MBR, but when i start the process im getting

- error code 4 (Failed to lock the volume, please reboot and retry.) or

- error code 6 (The partition table on the disk failed to update as other programs locked the partition table, please close other programs and retry.)

I tried to follow the instructions but with no luck.

Deleting the partition is not an option as i need the data on it...
