Windows 10: PC completely freezes when editing screenshots on snipping tool

Hi,This has happened a few times to me now. I will perform a screenshot using the shortcut Win + Shift + S, and then open the image from the notification and go to edit the screenshot e.g. drawing on it within snipping tool and my computer will completely freeze.In the most recent instance, I also had a game running in the background. When I started editing the screenshot, the game crashed and my screen went black. After a few seconds the screen turned back on so I continued editing but then the computer completely froze except for the cursor. I was able to move the cursor for a minute or so

Snipping tool freezes in middle of the work

Hello,

My office work station which is Windows 10 enterprise , 64 bit , 3.6ghz board. Everything is fine except snipping tool, since we use dual display with design software multi tasking, snipping tool helps us a lot. Many times i have observed snipping tool getting
freezed and no keys , commands will help for at least 10 minutes. Confiscated design software's which is more than 35gb running will not freeze but snip tool freezes.

Any suggestions to stop this.

How to invoke Snipping Tool or Snip & Snatch to open my screenshot

I am developing my own screenshot app. And I hope when I take a screenshot, which is in my app, then I could invoke Snipping Tool or Snap & Snatch to open the screenshot in them. So that I could further edit it in them. Is it possible and how?

I tried Snap & Snatch, it can do so. When it takes a screenshot, then use its "Open With", it can invoke any other app, like Paint, Photos or another Snap & Snatch to open the screenshot in them and then do edit work.

Follow above process, Snap & Snatch can also invoke Snipping Tool. But the invoked Snipping Tool won't open the screenshot.
