Windows 10: PC constantly crashes one a day, maybe two and sometimes it frezzes.

Everyday , before I get a BSOD, my PC stars being slow and unresponsive stutters and frezzes and after the imminent Blue Screen of Death starts to show.

My PC specs are:

OS: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X

Bios Version: F10i

Bios Mode: UEFI

CPU: IntelR CoreTM i5-9600K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

RAM: 16GB 3000Mhz


So far I have tried:
- sfc /scannow, which comes up clean
- chkdsk, comes up clean
- dism /online /checkhealth, comes clean
- Windows memory diagnostic comes up clean
- updated drivers for the motherboard from the website
- reinstalling my graphics drivers

Gta 4 crashing constantly

Sup everyone, i seem to be having a very annoying problem. I purchased gta 4 recently and i installed it and it runs quite well, my system is listed in my specs. The problem with the game, is that about +/- 5 minutes of playing, the screen gets funny coloured squares and my whole pc crashes. I have xp sp3 installed. I have tried numerous things like clocking my cpu back to stock but to no avail. My pc is not overheating, thats for sure, i dunno. My mate just told me that it might just be a bug, but it seems strange that i bug in the game would cause my whole pc to crash. Any suggestions?

 

PC Crashing on every game

OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
