Windows 10: PC continuous “connecting” to xbox party chat - Works on Xbox One

Hi, so ive been dealing with this issue with my newly built PC. I have tried anything I could find to solve this to no avail.

PC connects to Discord and game chat works in games as well. Party is only app not working

-ethernet connection to router (netgear r6000v)

-Open NAT and connectivity to xbox live (no Teredo issues)

• I have ran the show teredo state in cmd prompt and everything checks out

-Connected directly to modem to see if it was Router issue

-uninstalled/reinstalled xbox companion/xbox app and reset all my settings multiple times

-Disabled windows firewall (do not have any 3rd party firewalls or VPN)

-opened all xbox ports on my pc and tried disabling UpNp on router

-went through network adapters in device manager to see if hamachi might be the issue (not there)

-all troubleshoot/fix it buttons in the alls and nothing came up

-windows is completely updated

Havent been able to find a single post with everything functioning and have my same issue any different suggestions would be helpful, im completely stuck!! PLEASE HELP

Xbox one party chat

If you can't switch from in-game chat to party chat on your Xbox One console, it may indicate that there's a problem with the Xbox Live service or your network connection.

Hi Noah,

For us to better isolate this issue, kindly provide us the following information below:

• Can you tell us if you're using a child account?
• May I know if you were able to join party chat on another computer while using the same account?
• Can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try using another Xbox account in the Xbox app and check if you will be able to join party chat. This will help us to determine if the issue is within the app or on the account that you're using.
