Windows 10: PC crash, what is happening?

    PC crash, what is happening?


    For a while now, sometimes my computer crash, it just happens, and I haven't seen any pattern. It already heppend in while i'm in several different programs, and sometimes even with me not doing anything. The frequency it happens is also ramdom, I can go for days without the bug occuring and in the next dayu it may happen 5 times. when tyhe bug happens, the computer basicly freezes, first the sound stops, then the program I'm in stop working, like, its functions stop doing anything. If I try to Alt+Tab to change program, it normally tryes to change program but it can't. I normaly can do Windo

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    PC crash, what is happening?

    Save BIOS crash.

    Not a known issue. The crash suggests that the AMD driver crashed the system.

    Does this happen every time?
