    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f)

    Hello,

    I am once again asking for help because I can no longer shut down my PC in a clear way. The shutdown (or restart) takes a very long time, fails and finally reboots the PC. In the event log, there is an DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) error.

    From my understanding, the cause of the error is an AMD driver. (Here is the minidump:

    Microsoft OneDrive)

    Unfortunately, the device manager displays no specific AMD (graphics or sound) driver, and the "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" - which uses the onboard GPU from AMD - returns the error code 31. The installation software from AMD (or gigabyte) also fails. The CPU installed is the AMD Ryzen 7 7770X.

    Help is much appreciated. I know that a reset of my system would solve the problem, but since this is the second time this has occurred, I'm looking for a more sustainable answer.
