    PC crashed, how do I deactivate key to install on new system?


    Had my PC motherboard crash, unable to uninstall Windows 10 Pro, in order to install on new PC build. What do I need to do, so I can use my purchased Windows 10 Pro on another computer build?Thanks.

    Help! New system keeps crashing

    It's runing through them now. It's a step forward, as the problem was the system crashing as soon as I pressed the key to boot from the disk, it crashed before I even got to install it. When it's done, I'll burn another copy, see if that works.

    PC crashed, how do I deactivate key to install on new system?

    Upgrading a PC and Retail Keys

    My current desktop PC started life with a Windows 8 Pro retail key and now has the latest version of Windows 10 activated by a digital key linked to my MS account.

    I want to change the motherboard, CPU, memory & system drive with a clean install so I guess Windows 10 will not automatically activate. What are the essential steps to deactivate the key currently in use and ensure it activates using the new hardware?
