Windows 10: PC crashed unexpectedly, data lost.

My PC crashed during a game yesterday and when I restarted it everything was running normally. It was just that my Desktop was empty and all my passwords and data for every single application were gone. One drive, google, epic games, everything. Other than this my Downloads folder, Pictures were all empty, the data was still there in MY PC, but it was all rearranged.

Anyways, I signed into my account, tried to do what I could, but still my PC wasn't syncing and the One Drive wouldn't sign in and my Microsoft account would not fix anything. When I started the computer next time, whatever passwords I had signed in had been lost again!

What am I supposed to do, I can't find help online.

I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics. Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
