PC crashed while gaming and no m.2 ssd discovered after

Hi guys, I have my windows installed on a m.2 SSD and a HDD for extra storage. I’ve been using this PC for around 1 year, close to 2 years. No issues previously. So earlier today, I was gaming with a few friends and my PC crashed suddenly. When I boot it up again, it goes into the bios instead of windows. I looked through the bios and it showed that only the HDD was connected, couldn’t detect the m.2.Then, I switched off the ATX power supply and pressed the ‘clear cmos’ button on my motherboard’s panel. When I booted up my PC again, it managed to detect my m.2 and boot into windows. However, it

  2. M.2 SSD Partitioning

My OS is installed on an 128GB SATA SSD,

All other applications, when ever possible I used to install on another 60 SATA SSD.

I am very happy with the performance. It is pretty fast, better than if it were on the same disk. I have tested the difference.

Now I have a new ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Motherboard with Two M.2 slots.

I am going to buy a 512 GB M.2 SSD.

As I have under stood the SSD consists of 4 Nos of NAND Chis.

Therefore on each NAND chip, I presume will have capacity of 64 GBs.

My question is are they really independent ?

Can they behave as independent Hard disks?

    If yes,

Can I partition my new M.2 SSD into an 198GB and 64GB partitions -that means 3 NAND chips and one NAND Chip?

and enjoy the same or better speed than before that I had with the SATA SSD?

pc crashes while gaming (due to ssd?)

    os number: 19041.450

    hello everyone,
my problem: my pc randomly freezes (usually while gaming) and then restarts itself. my idea would be that it has to do with my ssd. usually when i use cc cleaner and trim my ssd my pc doesnt crash. however, my ssd doesnt trim auotmatically and when checking if it wants optimalization, it sometimes want to be optimalized every few minutes. do you have any suggestions on how to fix this, or any other suggestion that could fix my crashing problem?

of course, it could be something else causing the crashes. however, after a crash my ssd always needs optimalization, most likely even before the crash but i cant check that 24/7.

already tried a soft windows redownload (saved settings and documents)

    thanks in advance.

M.2 SSD Drive With Windows 10 Listed as Disk 1 in Disk Management,

Hi, In my pc M.2 SSD with Windows 10 OS is listed as Disk 1 and not as Disk 0 in Disk Management. Also, the same drive is listed as Removable devices which is actually internal SSD.

Can anybody help me resolve this, please?
