Windows 10: PC crashes only when gaming

Discus and support PC crashes only when gaming in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; My laptop PC was doing fine when I was only playing games likes overwatch and then when I downloaded Destiny 2 I started having problems with the BSOD...     PC crashes only when gaming


    My laptop PC was doing fine when I was only playing games likes overwatch and then when I downloaded Destiny 2 I started having problems with the BSOD and a WHEA error screen. I couldnt figure it out and the first time I played Fallout 76 it crashed twice on the first time playing. I ended up wiping my pc and reinstalling windows. Since then I have installed the latest driver for my gpu but I havent installed any drivers other than those that come up in a windows update. I undervolted my cpu to keep my temperatures low before it ever crashed and I re-did it after I reinstalled windows. I just opened up Fallout 76 again and it crashed after only a couple minutes.


    The following message was in the event viewer

    I have the Minidump but Im not sure how to upload it. Can somebody help me? Is it a problem with undervolting and should I give it more voltage? Is it a hardware issue?

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    PC Crashing on every game PC crashes only when gaming :(

    OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

    Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin PC crashes only when gaming :D
