Windows 10: PC crashes while doing nothing

Hello everyone,since some time my PC started crashing while doing nothing. It happens mostly when I go away from some time, come back to my room and see my PC restarted. Also this happened some times when I was in my room but was working on other devices so again a crash while doing nothing. My temporary solution is to start a program that automatically moves my mouse every second. This helps for now but its no long term solution though.This is my setup:CPU: Intel Core i7 13700KMainboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AXMemory: 2x 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-6400 DIMM CL32GPU: Nvidia RTX 40

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

PC Crashing on every game

OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
