Windows 10: PC Crashing after New SSD

My PC has been randomly crashing every ~2 days or so due to what I think was a dying SSD, so I got a replacement drive and tried installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 on it. However, with no other hardware changes, my PC will now barely go more than a couple minutes without freezing and/or restarting itself no BSOD. I can't even get through Windows 11 setup. I tried installing Windows 10 instead, and while I was able to get through that installation, my PC still crashes within a minute or two of starting up.Putting the old drive with the old install of Windows back in fixes the constant free

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

pc crashes while gaming (due to ssd?)

hello everyone,
my problem: my pc randomly freezes (usually while gaming) and then restarts itself. my idea would be that it has to do with my ssd. usually when i use cc cleaner and trim my ssd my pc doesnt crash. however, my ssd doesnt trim auotmatically and when checking if it wants optimalization, it sometimes want to be optimalized every few minutes. do you have any suggestions on how to fix this, or any other suggestion that could fix my crashing problem?

of course, it could be something else causing the crashes. however, after a crash my ssd always needs optimalization, most likely even before the crash but i cant check that 24/7.

already tried a soft windows redownload (saved settings and documents)
