PC crashing while gaming on Windows 11, event viewer shows Kernel-Power error 41

Whenever I play graphically-intensive games my PC will crash with the fans spinning faster and the monitor going black. The PC doesn't actually shut itself off, but it is unusable until I restart it manually with the front panel button. I noticed temps were getting slightly high, but never anything much higher than 70C. I'm thinking it may be a cooling issue or something with the PSU; all the parts were purchased new about a month ago. I tried changing my fan speeds to high. If there is inadequate cooling, what part should I look to replace first? CPU cooler, adding more fans, switching to AIO

Event Viewer - Kernel Power 41 - Bluescreen Timeline

I am trying to debug a bluescreen I've been having.

I am looking through event viewer and I believe I've narrowed down potential events related to the crash, but I need a reference point so I can refer to the timestamps on the events.

Kernel Power 41 is within this list.

When does the Kernel Power 41 Error occur in the span of a BSOD?

Is it logged to event viewer after rebooting from a bluescreen? Does it occur the moment a BSOD finishes collecting errors? Or does it occur at a different time?

Additionally, are there any events that can act as reference points in the timeline of a bluescreen? Does event viewer even log events during a bluescreen's "collecting" phase?

    Thanks.

  3. Kernel-Power event id 41. BugcheckCode 0

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

    1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
    2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
    3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
    Power Event ID 41
and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows

    and check if that helps.

  4. PC crashing while gaming on Windows 11, event viewer shows Kernel-Power error 41

Pc crashes very frequently (Kernel-Power) Event 41.

Hello, my pc is having several crashes during the day specifically when im playing games. Once it completly shuts down it restarts by itself. I checked the event viewer and there is a critical event Kernel-Power (Event 41). This event is always followed by Kernel-PnP (Event 219); DriverFrameWorks (Event 10118); Ntfs (Event 98); Some filtermanager events (Event 6). Ive been having this issue for so long now. Ive tried:

-Updating my pc and all my drivers

-Reinstalling windows (Worked for some time but then went back to how it was)

    -Replacing PSU

    -Tested RAM with Memtest86

    -Driver Verifier

Also my pc doesnt generate any Minidumps. Nothing seems to work and now im very clueless on what to do.

I have found the way to make my pc crash 100% but I dont know what causes it.
