Windows 10: PC Crashing

My PC randomly crashes for no known reason. I can have no apps being used and it will crash. The type of crash, in the way I would describe is that the screen freezes up completely with absolutely no response, along with a small looped sample of audio from whatever audio is being played, which makes an almost buzzing sound, the only way of getting out of it is to hard restart my PC.

Are there any suggestions on what to look for?

Looked at Event Viewer

Updated Drivers

Scanned for Virus

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

 

PC Crashing on every game

OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin
