Windows 10: PC disconnected from the router and does not connect back even after restart

My pc disconnected from the internet during normal use playing CS:GO. I have gone through the troubleshooting guide and it did not help. Other devices connected to the router both through wire and wifi work fine - I have even connected my notebook to the same ethernet cable and it works perfectly so the problem has to be in the PC. I am just not sure where exactly and how to fix it. Only recent change of HW/SW were new headphones that I bought yesterday and there were no problems with them.

Router disconnect/restart when my pc restart or cold boot

After the latest update on my Windows 10, my router keep restart/disconnects when I turn on my pc or restarting my pc. It never happened before as far as I know. I'm not the only one using Internet in house, there's other people and they also lose connection
to router, wifi or lan. I'm using lan cable direct to router. I set my lan IP address in router to fixed mode.

My router are TP Link TD-W8968 and using built in Realtek Lan adapter in my PC. How can my pc cause router to restart/disconnects every single time I restart/turn on my pc? Please help

AT&T wasn't much of a help. All they suggested was to replace my router and modem with their products.

Router Setup Question

Firstly, are you trying to connect to the router via a wireless adapter or are you directly hooked into the router? Some routers dont allow you to configure them remotely (using wireless, or configuring it from a computer not directly connected to it with cable).

Did you follow all the instructions step by step, correctly? Routers are very picky and sometimes need to be reset if you disconnect/connect modems, power and other connections from them in different orders.

If the above dont work, Reset the router by removing the power cable and waiting a few seconds and try again.
