Pc does automatic windows 11 update just to revert all changes made

I recently upgraded to windows 11. Everytime I start my computer it starts doing some update to it, it takes about a few minutes. Then it says something along these lines: "Something went wrong, don't worry, we'll revert the chnages". Then it restarts, starts reverting again?!? 1 more restart and im in my desktop and everything is fine. For whatever reason I cant post images here, it just says something went wrong. But anyway I think I found the error message from the reliability monitor: Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following upda

Windows 8 failure configuring updates and reverting

Have you followed their advice? Install one update at a time and reboot after each one. It's a long process, but if that's the solution, and you want a working laptop, I see no other option.

As for a windows 8.1 iso, it's easy. I literally did this 2 weeks ago to my PC.

EDIT: Also, if you go direct to HP, they actually tell you to go into the BIOS, disabled "Secure boot" run the updates and reboot, and then turn "Secure boot" back on. Have you done as HP suggested?

    windows automatic updates

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
