    PC does not meet minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11 even though it came with it...


    As I was trying to register for the Windows Insider Program in my Windows Settings I had received this message as stated in the title while trying to do so. How is it that this makes any sense? Is this an error somehow? What is the issue since my computer is obviously already running Windows 11?Context: When I had received this PC from Best Buy the website did, in fact, say that it was supposed to come with Windows 10 but it ended up coming with Windows 11 instead, Twice! Twice since the first computer, I had there were a variety of problems so I had it sent back for a new one of the same comp

    Lumia 650 not meeting minimum system requirements of 1GB

    This was not the case yesterday. It was listed for mobile as well, now it is indeed listed as PC/Surface only.

    But my question was not completely related to just this app, but why the store listed my device as not meeting the minimum of 1GB RAM. (Now it is indeed listed as incompatible as they removed ARM support from the architecture list). It was telling me to
    check the requirements.

    upgrade to windows 11 from windows 10

    The only officially supported way to get 11 at this time is by joining the Windows Insider program, in either the developer or beta channels.

    However, 11 has some hardware security requirements that many PCs that are more than a couple of years old don't meet. There are utilities to check for those . Here's one: Windows 11 Compatibility Checker 2.4 Download | TechSpot

    The sticking point for a lot of PCs is the CPU. AMD supported list: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...amd-processors Intel supported list: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...tel-processors

    It is possible to run the 11 insider versions on hardware that doesn't meet the requirements, but Microsoft has stated that the release version of 11 will not run on unsupported hardware.

    It's very different from Windows 10 in that regard.
