Windows 10: PC does not start after "update and restart"

I went to restart my PC, it prompted me to 'update and restart' I thought nothing of it and it got stuck.screen stays black. RAM lights up. I have a red light on my motherboard now. Keyboard and mouse do not light up. Fans all start. M.2 SSD LED lights. Windows 11. Today's date and time 2147 pacific time. Gigabyte 650b aorus elite AMD ryzen 5 7600xThis is super annoying and aggravating. What update could have possibly messed my system up?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Pc stucks at restarting.

I suggest you to perform the Startup Repair and check.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button and click on the Settings option.
• Select Update & security > Recovery.

  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I would recommend suggest you to enable the fast startup.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start icon and select Power Options.
• Click on the Choose what power buttons do on the left navigation pane.
• Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable (Enter the admin credentials if prompted).
• Check the Turn on Fast startup (Recommended) box.
• Click on Save changes.
• Restart the computer.

if you want to change any setting just do it step by step so you know what might happen when your pc restart again and again
