Windows 10: PC does not stay Internet Connected

My machine is Intel QuadCore i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz, 32 GB RAM, running MS Windows 10 Home v. 1803, build 17134.228 on an MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard with a SAMSUNG SSD main drive.It has RealTek High Definition Audio and a SAMSUNG U28D590D VDU driven by an NVIDIA QUADRO K620 Video Card. There is a Logitech C930 webcam and I have Windows Defender as Anti-virus with Firefox and Skype running in the background.My internet connection is from Hotspot on my Xaomi Mi A3 phone via a tp-link TL-WN722N USB Adapter. It stinks! It is forever dropping out and staying out even when Windows --> Settings -

Can't stay connected to the internet

I have followed the steps you listed, and there hasn't been a change in the internet connectivity problem. However, I did notice after entering "ipconfig /release" there was a section that popped up, that said

"No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 1 while it has its media disconnected.

No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 2 while it has its media disconnected"

perhaps this is an indication of the problem, or let me know if there's any other information I could look for that could help.

 

Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
