Windows 10: PC doesn't recognize Q90R TV as HDR

Dear community,


The problem that I am facing is that Windows does see the TV as 4K, but not as HDR. See images below:








As you can see, I have a capable GPU and I also have a Samsung Q90R, which is also HDR capable.


Any help is appreciated an if more information is needed, I can provide.

Hello, I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues using HDR for Windows 10. You will first need to enable the HDR mode for your TV. This depends on what kind of TV you have, but it should be easy switching to HDR mode. Once switched into the HDR,
you will need to connect the PC to the TV via HDMI or display cable. If the image is recognized, you are able to access the HDR settings from your Display Settings.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
