Windows 10: PC doesn’t recognize USB mp3 player

I use Windows 10 laptop and a Pyle Flextreme MP3 Player. This player works without problems but I cannot connect it to the laptop to load new songs on it. My laptop just cannot see it.

1. It is possible that the mp3 player is corrupted, or has no power. Can you confirm that is not the case???
2. Have you tested it in other usb ports?
3. Are other devices working in the same usb ports?
4. How old is the MP3 device?

1. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
2. Are you aware of any changes being made to your PC?
   
3. Have you tried connecting the MP3 player to another PC?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Run the USB diagnose tool to repair USB issues. Refer the article on
automatically diagnose and fix Windows USB problems.



Method 2:



Try updating the USB drivers.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and hit enter.
   
3. Go to ‘Universal Serial Bus controller’ and expand it.
   
4. Right click on the ‘USB root hub’ and click on
   update drivers.
   
5. Click on Search automatically for updated driver software.
   
6. Restart the PC after the updating of the drivers completes.

WIndows 10 doesn't recognize usb mp3 player

I have a Pyle Flextreme MP3 Player. My Win10 HP laptop recognized it one time, but now does not recognize it at all, so I can't load anything new to it. it charges ok, so I don't the problem is with the usb connection clip.
