Windows 10: PC doesnt wake up from sleep until i press multiple different buttons - Windows 11 Home

I recently built my PC from scratch - here is a list of the parts I'm using.Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B650 Elite AX with 802.11ax Wifi 6 CPU: Ryzen 7 7700XRAM: Kingston Fury Beast 32GB DDR5 6000mhz AMD Expo profile enabled to OC to 6000mhz from default 4800mhzAiO Cooler: Thermaltake Floe Riing 360mm premium editionFront Case Fans: Thermaltake F140 RGB fansGPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 switched from AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX because it ran poorly SSD: XPG 2TB PCIE Gen 4.0 upto 7400MB/sPSU: Corsair RM850e switched from GIGABYTE GP-UD850GM 850W because i needed atx 3.0 compatibilit

Must press PC power button to wake from sleep.

My Dell Inspiron 3670 Windows 11 desktop has recently required pressing the power button to wake from sleep no matter how the sleep mode had been initiated.



Power management at Device Manager for keyboard and mouse are checked to allow device to wake the computer.

There have been no program additions or changes to the PC and no new apps.

I have run chkdsk/f r and DISM and they show no problems.

I have used a keyboard and mouse from another PC and have the same problem.

I have run the power troubleshooter to no effect.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

PC waking from sleep because power button was pressed except it wasn't

My PC sometimes wakes from sleep, sometimes seconds after being put to sleep without me doing anything. I got the following information from the PowerShell:

Is it telling me that Windows thinks the power button was pressed? Because I certainly didn't (I was the only person in the room when it happened). Could some kind of electrical interference be getting detected by the motherboard through the power button wiring, causing the PC to wake? It's kind of annoying.
